Market Opening Ceremony
A market open ceremony to celebrate CBC/Radio-Canada's 75th anniversary was held at the Toronto Stock Exchange on October 24, 2011. Tim Casgrain, Chair of the Board, along with a few on-air personalities and other representatives from the public broadcaster, initiated the siren to open the market at 9:30 a.m.
