Aliens of the Deep Sea The octopus is easily identified – a soft boneless body, enormous eyes, and eight arms – not far from the way that Hollywood typically portrays aliens from outer space. But the octopus is an alien to humans for many other reasons – they are one of the ocean's most complex creatures, and one of its most enigmatic. |

Through hard work, love and dedication, this expert team create a unique human-elephant family, and nurture the orphaned elephants back to health. |

Royal Weddings With the year’s most-watched wedding only a little more than three months away, William, Kate & 8 Royal Weddings revisits the glamour, the spectacle and the emotion of previous monarchical marriage ceremonies, and looks forward to what the world can expect when Prince William and Kate Middleton join hands on April 29. Featuring behind-the-scenes anecdotes, interviews with Royal wedding-dress designers, memories from Royal bridesmaids and expert commentary, this new documentary celebrates the pageantry and pomp of the weddings of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, and Charles, Prince of Wales—as well as the funeral following the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales 18 years later. |

Endangered by divorce, an ailing economy and common-law unions, marriage is undergoing a makeover. From Samantha and Stéphane who have an open marriage, to Marjorie and Jack, a ‘very married’ couple who converted their family home into separate apartments, viewers get many perspectives on the current state of the union. |
Historical Note:
The Graham Spry Theatre was established in honour of one of Canada's most
faithful and influential advocates of public broadcasting. Graham Spry and Alan
Plaunt, two young enthusiastic lobbyists, co-founded the Radio League of Canada.
Together they were the driving force leading to the establishment of a national
public broadcaster in 1932 by the Canadian Parliament.
